Response Formats

Tradier supports a couple different response formats. The way you should request a specific format is using the standard HTTP header Accept.

XML
This is the default format of the API due to its ubitquity in the financial space. You can omit or use the following Accept header to get XML: application/xml
JSON
JSON format is lightweight and readable. It is recommended you use this format for your requests. You should use the following Accept header to get JSON: application/json

CORS Support

All Tradier APIs, except for OAuth endpoints, support CORS requests. That means you can make requests directly from a web browser without requiring a backend service. For more information about CORS and how you can use it in your applications, see the links below:
